The interactive sessions were conducted in Afebabalola University, Elizade University, University of Lagos, the University of Ibadan and Usmanu Danfodio University respectively. The discussions were centred on “Nigerian Foreign Policy and the Question of Collective Security’’, in relation to the developing security challenges that the country has faced in recent years. With Nigeria’s well-known status as an ardent contributor to regional peace and security missions, it was presupposed that the country would receive substantial support from the committee of nations during her crisis but that was not the case. The interactive sessions pointed out charters and declarations of commitments from the ECOWAS and the UN.
The students actively engaged in the conversation.
