The integrity and security of the electoral process is important for any democracy. To this effect the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung sets out to strengthen the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Through the development of a facilitators guide for the reviewed Electoral Security Manual and a 3-day-training of trainers for INEC from all Federal States. This is to better equip the trainers to train INEC Staff on Issues of election security. Efforts of FES and The Electoral Institute are aimed to prepare for more peaceful and credible election to come.
